#002 Cowboy Boot Bouquet & Boot Stocking
Wall Quilt (26"x28") - Revised 2000 This
wall quilt is a favorite for a western wedding, anniversary, or house
warming. The bouquet of flowers is festive, and yet reserved enough for even
a man's gift. Directions for a smaller version can be found in an insert,
along with the brands and rope quilting motifs. For a personal touch,
substitute your own or more familiar brands for the background quilting, and
embroider names and messages. A totally pieced design.

Booklet. There are
several design options for the upper portion of the pieced boots. Border a door frame for
year-around decorating. These look great displayed with the Horseshoe Hangers. |

#003 Cowboy Boots and Hats -Quilt
(56"x70") - Revised 2001. This pattern was the first of several to consist
of 12" square blocks. The idea was to develop designs of uniform size which could be
combined to produce unique sampler quilts reflecting a maker's or recipient's special
interests. Make a set of boot sofa pillows for a smaller project or expand the design for
a full bed quilt. An insert gives additional directions for 9" and half-size 6"
blocks. A time tested pieced design for classic western favorites. YIPPEE! Kick up your
heels and hit the trail. It's time to create a Western quilt. |

#007 Western Partners - Wall Quilt
(36"x36") "Buckaroo Bill" and "Contrary Kate". This
jaunty couple is fun to sew for country line dancers, rodeo competitors, for a western
wedding, or as unique Western wall decor. Outfit the cowboy in jeans or chaps, and add the
rawhide rope. Either figure can stand alone. For a smaller project such as a Pillow, or
for a Sampler Quilt, sew just the top portion for a "Portrait Block". An easy

Horse Happy - Nine Block Wall Quilt
(48"x48"), Two-Horse Hanging (32"x36"), Pillow. These
12" Horseheads, with optional topstitched bias tape bridles, face left or right, and
alternate with a block of four diagonally placed Horseshoes accenting a colorful center
star. Use the blocks as shown for a great scrap Wall Quilt, in Samplers, or just keep
sewing for a great horsey Bed Quilt! An alternate setting arrangement puts two horses
facing and the Horseshoes above. Make Carousel Horses by changing the colors and adding
flower appliqués and ribbon roses.

#009 Steadfast Steed - Featured on HGTV
Simply Quilts! Wall Quilt (30"x30"), Bed Quilt
(62"x86") This is a pieced whole horse design which looks
like appliqué, but it's not. Horses face left and right and have a folded mane and
forelock for added dimension. Sew with or without a saddle and saddle blanket, to place
your horse at the hitching post or out in the pasture. Anyone, East or West, with horses
on their mind or in their heart - be it pleasure riding, ranching, or rodeo - would enjoy

#012 The Baron of Beef (Dairy,Too) - Large Wall Quilt
(45"x45") These cowhead designs are pieced rather than appliquéd. The
brands are applied with fuseable web and machine stitching. All the common breeds of
beef and dairy cows are represented - Hereford, Angus, Shorthorn, Longhorn, Crossbred,
Guernsey, Jersey, and Holstein. Make unique Pillows, Banner/Table Runner, Wall Quilts, or
add the 12" blocks to a sampler. For a country farm quilt, sew the dairy cows and
substitute daisies or sunflowers for the brands. |

#018 Showtime Stars
This pattern was
designed to showcase favorite novelty and theme print fabrics in a quick and
easy-to-sew quilt. This is a very versatile design which can be used
to make quilts of all sizes from bed to wall quilts. The quilt layout
consists of two alternating 12" blocks with sashing between. Make the blocks
scrappy and colorful with the fabrics in these packs, adding others from
your own stash, or use a planned color placement.
For a design option, substitute other 12" blocks from the Chickadee Charms
pattern series for the star blocks and individualize your quilt even
